Infrastructure and communications added to settlement for residents of landslide zone in Ingushetia

The Malgobek District of Ingushetia continues building a residential settlement for the people who live in the territory of the landslide zone. The first resettlers move in back on June 4, but the process of building the infrastructure and laying down communications is not over yet.

Magomed-Hadji Aushev, head of building contractor "Glavstroi", told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that over 500 cottages are completely finished; and on February 23, the settlement was solemnly opened.

"We still need to complete communications, sewage and improve roads. It'll take about two weeks. We've also started the infrastructure: construction of a school, a mosque, shops, etc.," he said. "At least 20 more houses are planned by the end of the year; it's a 'hot' deadline, we'll have to strain all our efforts."
