Coronavirus death toll in Southern Caucasus increases due to Armenia and Georgia

In Southern Caucasus, including the unrecognized republics, the number of coronavirus deaths has reached 82. Over the past 24 hours, one person died in Armenia and Georgia each.

In Armenia, a 48-year-old woman died from complications caused by coronavirus; the total number of COVID-19 casualties in this country has reached 43, which exceeds half of all the deaths in Southern Caucasus.

In Georgia, the number of deaths has reached 10.

Azerbaijan has registered 28 deaths; another one in Abkhazia, according to the website of the Johns Hopkins University. No deaths have been reported in Nagorno-Karabakh and South Ossetia.
