Dolzhenko transported from Elista hospital to SIZO

Alexander Dolzhenko, a former manager of the “Dalnaya Step” Company, who was sentenced on April 6 to two years in colony and hospitalized after sentencing, has been placed today into a SIZO (pre-trial prison) cell. Prison doctors found no reason for hospitalizing him into the SIZO medical unit, said his wife Irina.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 6 the Elista City Court (ECC) found Dolzhenko guilty of complicity to the intentional bankruptcy of the "Dalnaya Step".

Today, Dolzhenko was discharged from the hospital, said Irina, who expressed surprise that her husband was discharged from the hospital on the following morning.

According to her story, she managed to phone to the SIZO and was informed that Alexander was placed into the SIZO cell.

The doctor on duty at the republic’s hospital has confirmed that Dolzhenko was discharged today.
