ICRF: Krasnodar resident opens fire in central city and commits suicide

A resident of Krasnodar was found dead in the passage under the central street of Krasnodar. The investigators have established that he fired several shots at his girlfriend, and then committed suicide.

The incident occurred on January 6 inKrasnaya   Street, the main street of Krasnodar. A 58-year-old local resident went down into the underground passage, came up to one of the pavilions and opened fire, said the spokesman of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

According to his story, the attacker's target was a 49-year-old woman. Having made three shots, the man shot himself. By the time policemen arrived, he was already dead, the "Zhivaya Kuban" writes with reference to the press service of the Krasnodar Department of the ICRF.

The attacked woman wasn't injured. Investigators have established that she was the attacker's acquaintance, the "Kuban 24" reports with reference to the ICRF's spokesman.
