Court refuses to arrest Magomed Guchigov
The Nagatino District Court of Moscow has dismissed the petition asking to detain Magomed Guchigov, an assistant to a Chechen prosecutor, who is suspected of shooting from the car of the wedding cortege.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 11, Magomed Guchigov, an assistant to the prosecutor of the Shali District of Chechnya, was detained in Moscow on suspicion of disorderly conduct involving firearms. According to investigators, he was one of the participants of the wedding cortege, who opened fire from car windows in Kashira Highway. The Prosecutor's Office is conducting a service check in respect of Guchigov, while investigators petition before the court to arrest him.
On September 16, the Nagatino District Court dismissed the investigators' petition to put Guchigov in custody until November 11.
"The court finds the petition unjustified and not subject to satisfaction," the "Interfax" quotes Judge Natalia Borisenkova.
Guchigov was released in the courtroom; and his freedom has not been restricted anyhow.
