In Vladikavkaz, CPRF members hold authorities responsible for poor situation in economy

In Vladikavkaz, supporters of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) have held a rally on the anniversary of the October Revolution. Members of the CPRF have the government of destroying the country's economy, and participants of the rally have expressed their dissatisfaction with high unemployment rate, low pensions, and high corruption.

In their hands, some marchers were holding portraits of Josef Stalin, and others were carrying a 30-meter red flag, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Elena Knyazeva, First Secretary of the CPRF's Committee for North Ossetia, has announced the need to preserve the tradition to celebrate the anniversary of the October Revolution. At present, it is replaced by the People's Unity Day.

Makharbek Djioev, a resident of the village of Brut of the Pravoberezhny District of North Ossetia, has noted the necessary to restore plants, factories, and collective farms to combat unemployment.

Akhmed Abaev, an 80-year-old pensioner, has expressed his dissatisfaction with corruption among government officials, while the Soviet Union "was a fair state."

The pensioner has also complained about his small pension and noted that, despite his age, he has to look for job because of shortage of money.

At the end of the rally, the protestors have adopted a resolution, stating that "Russia is driven back for many decades, the economy is destroyed, and workers lose the last social gains of the October Revolution."
