Two persons killed and two detained in special operation in Ingushetia

In Ingushetia, the special operation conducted by power agents since March 26 in Ordzhonikidzevskaya village is over. According to the command of the Internal Troops, two persons who had rendered armed resistance were killed, and two others detained. Three militiamen of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Ingushetia were wounded.

Today in the morning, power agents opened heavy armoured machine fire on the cellar, where militants got hidden. The opened a response fire.

Now the house, where the militants were blocked, is almost completely destroyed. An investigatory group is studying the venue.

General of the Army General Nikolai Rogozhkin, Commander-in-Chief of Internal Troops of Russia's MIA, who is quoted by the "Interfax", said that his special units took part in the operation along with other power subdivisions.

A source in law enforcement bodies informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the armed clash was temporarily over today at 8 a.m.

The operation of MIA's Internal Troops, supported by armoured machinery, was launched after law enforcers were shelled yesterday, on March 26. They were checking documents in one of two-storeyed houses, but faced resistance. The Department of the FSB announced a special operation, and additional forces were brought to the place of the incident.
