Number of killed and injured in missile attacks on Ganja reaches 45

Today, a woman from Ganja, injured in a shelling attack, has died in a hospital. Thus, the death toll of the shelling attacks rose to 10. Meanwhile, the number of people injured as a result of the shelling attack on Ganja rose to 35. The authorities provided housing for city residents whose houses had been destroyed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the fighting in the conflict zone began on September 27, and at midday on October 10, a ceasefire agreement in the conflict zone entered into force. However, the parties continued accusing each other of violating the ceasefire.

Today, a wounded woman from Ganja, born in 1992, has died in a hospital. Thus, the death toll of the shelling attacks rose to 10, while the number of people injured rose to 35. Their number includes 16 women and six children, the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan reports.

Two wounded adults still stay in severe condition. The rest got slight or moderate-severity injuries, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the Ganja City Executive Authority.

According to the authorities, about 100 families who lost their houses are provided with housing: they are accommodated in apartments rented at the expense of the state. "There is an instruction from the President of Azerbaijan, according to which new houses will be built in a short time. Prior to their construction, housing rent will be paid by the state. Those in need will receive financial assistance to purchase clothes and basic necessities," officials from the Ganja City Executive Authority said.
