NKR accuses Azerbaijan of 220 shelling attacks within week

Since November 24, Azerbaijani militaries have fired more than 3500 shots on the troops contact line, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 17-23, the NKR recorded 140 shelling attacks on its positions.

On November 24-30, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire on the troops contact line for about 220 times, the NKR's MoD has stated after counting over 3500 shots at its positions, made from various calibre small arms.

According to the estimates of the "Caucasian Knot", on November 24-30, Azerbaijan declared 170 shelling attacks on its positions in the Karabakh conflict zone and on the border with Armenia.

Let us remind you that the NKR's MoD also reported that on November 29, during the shelling from the Azerbaijani side, Rafael Azizyan, a soldier of the Defence Army, was seriously wounded.
