Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of machine gun fire

Units of the Armenian armed forces 24 times violated the ceasefire and used large-calibre machine guns, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Azerbaijan reports today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 26, Azerbaijan registered 22 attacks on its positions from Armenia. On the same day, the Armenian Ministry of Defence claimed that the Azerbaijani armed forces tried to bring their positions closer to the Armenian ones and opened fire in response to a warning. The Azerbaijani MoD denied the information and reported about the death of a soldier in another sector of the front.

From March 26 to March 27, positions of the Azerbaijani army in the villages of Gyzylgadjily and Djafarli and in the nameless heights in the Gazakh District came under fire, the Azerbaijani MoD reports on its website today.
