On January 22-28, 2018, no one fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

During the week of January 22-28, 2018, no victims to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus were registered. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

Detentions

On January 28, in the Terek District of Kabardino-Balkaria, law enforcers found weapons and ammunition during searches conducted in the house of a resident of the Arik village and the houses of his relatives. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), a 28-year-old villager had earlier criminal record, and in his private house, he stored a hand fragmentation grenade and six cartridges for firearms of various calibres, which field investigators seized during the search. The villager is taken under custody by the court's decision.
