German tourist asks for help in highlands of Georgia

During a snowfall in the high mountain resort of Abastumani, a tourist from Germany felt bad and asked for the help of rescuers.

The tourist stays on the Sairme-Abastumani mountain pass in the Samtskhe-Javakheti Region, and his trip was complicated by the snowfall, reported Giorgi Seturidze, an official from the Georgian Ministry for Regional Development and Infrastructure.

According to the official, the German tourist went on a journey with his Georgian friend. Rescuers with appropriate equipment and a doctor have been sent to help the man.
