Hungarian tourist dies in Georgian mountains

A Hungarian citizen suffered a fatal injury during a rockfall in Svanetia.

A 30-year-old man with other tourists was on the Chalaadi glacier, 12 kilometres off the city of Mestia. This place is one of the most popular among tourists visiting Svanetia. Having got under a rockfall, the Hungarian citizen received a head injury, from which he died. His companions were not hit.
