Deputy Minister for North-Caucasian Affairs Andrei Reznikov dies

Today, Andrei Reznikov, Deputy Minister for North-Caucasian Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) "Resorts of Northern Caucasus" has died after a long illness. He was 48 years old.

In July 2015, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that Andrei Reznikov was elected the Chairman of the Board of Directors for OJSC "Resorts of Northern Caucasus". In July 2014, Andrei Reznikov was appointed the Deputy Minister for North-Caucasian Affairs, and in November 2014, he joined the Board of Directors for OJSC "Resorts of Northern Caucasus".

"Andrei Reznikov made a great contribution to the development of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) by implementing the state policy <...> to attract investment and develop small and medium-sized businesses in the region," reports the website of the Ministry for North-Caucasian Affairs.

Andrei Reznikov was in charge of the North-Caucasian tourist cluster project since 2015, and he won "the respect of all key figures of the Caucasian community from Derbent to Stavropol," reports the website of OJSC "Resorts of Northern Caucasus".
