Motorists complain about problems with registration of GCE in Makhachkala
To get the due documents in Makhachkala at the GIBDD (traffic police) for using gas-cylinder equipment GCE) in cars, one has to take the queue at three at night, said local motorists. The GIBDD objects, saying that residents of other dwelling settlements of the republic are trying to register their GCE in Makhachkala.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 21, 2016, drivers of several city routes in Makhachkala refused to work in protest against the demand of the police to register the GCE of their buses.
"The Inter-District Registration-Examinational Division (known as MREO) of the GIBDD is the only place in Makhachkala, engaged in paperwork on the GCE," Ruslan Ragimov, the head of the propaganda group of the Dagestani GIBDD, has explained, adding that all the primary documents for GCE "are made by private companies, to which GIBDD has no attitude."
