In Makhachkala, unidentified persons tried to blow up a militia's UAZ

In the evening on February 24 in Makhachkala, an explosive device was triggered en route of a militia car. The explosion caused no casualties and victims, while the car received minor damage.

According to the press service of the Dagestani MIA, the incident occurred at 11:15 p.m. in Akushinsky Avenue. When an UAZ-Hunter van was passing by, an unknown person detonated a self-made explosive device with remote triggering stuffed with striking elements. The power of the bomb was about 200 grams of TNT (trotyl) equivalent.

The bomb was planted on the dividing strip under a billboard, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
