Heat closes all car washes in Khasavyurt
The website of the city administration of Khasavyurt (Dagestan) reports that with the aim of more rational water use in the heat season, they suspended all the city car washes till September 1.
Because of sharp rise of air temperature in recent months, in spite of a substantial growth of the volume of supplied potable water to Khasavyurt, in different parts of city problems have appeared with delivery of water to the population.
According to experts of Khasavyurt communal services, the reason is in irrational use of water by private farms and car washes, the RIA "Dagestan" reports.
The city authorities have also admitted that "operation of car washes is beyond technological specifications, since they do not use recycled water," the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
