Armenia and Russia agree about joint military production facilities

Konstantin Biryulin, deputy director of the Russian Federal Service of Military-Technical Cooperation, has discussed, in the course of his visit to Yerevan, with the Armenian party the opportunity of creating joint military-technical facilities and of involvement of Armenian enterprises in the Russian-Belarusian Financial and Industrial Group "Defence Systems".

The Russian delegation, accompanied by Arthur Bagdasaryan, Secretary of the Security Council under President of Armenia, visited the Russian military aviation base in Gyumri, enterprises "Slatsk" and "Avtogen" in Vanadzor, the Charentsavan Machine Tool Building Factory and the enterprise "Patnesh" in Razdan.

According to the press service of the Council of National Security of Armenia, the Armenian and Russian parties discussed the issues of "harmonization of the normative base, which regulates the military-technical sphere."

  • SC demands from KBSU documents on legality of Khokonov's dismissal

    The Supreme Court (SC) of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) has begun considering the lawsuit lodged by Murat Khokonov, Professor of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University (KBSU), concerning his illegal dismissal. The SC has demanded from KBSU bosses the documents confirming the legality of professor's dismissal.
