Bodies of all casualties of terror act in Nazran identified

Experts have finished identification of the bodies of the casualties of the explosion at the ROVD building in Nazran. It was reported by a representative of the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Ingushetia.

The terror act in Nazran was committed on August 17, when a passenger "Gazel" minivan stuffed with explosive, rammed the gate of the ROVD (District Interior Division), when the personnel was lining up in the yard, and blew up, causing damage to about 200 persons.

Earlier, 24 persons were believed to be lost. However, according to the MIA spokesman, as of today, 20 persons have been officially recognized as victims of this terror act, the Russian News Service reports. At present, all of them, according to the source, have been identified, the "Gazeta.Ru" notes.

On September 8, Yuri Turygin, Public Prosecutor of Ingushetia, said that one of the organizers of the terror act in Nazran had been detained in the republic; and the local MIA added that it was a certain Chabiev, 19, a resident of Plievo village. According to Mr Turygin, Chabiev had been a member of the earlier liquidated grouping, and is now giving confessional evidences.
