"Novaya Gazeta": not only Kadyrov is suspected of Politkovskaya's murder

The employees of the "Novaya Gazeta" newspaper who are running a journalists' investigation of the murder of their colleagues Anna Politkovskaya are considering not only "the Chechen trace" and involvement in the crime of the current acting president of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov.

"The "Novaya Gazeta," the employees of which have undertaken their journalists' investigation of Anna Politkovskaya's murder, are indeed considering this version as well, but not as the single and main version. So far, it has no real confirmation," runs the application of the editorial stuff of the edition published in the web-site of "Novaya Gazeta."

In this connection, the journalists ask their colleagues from other media not to pick up individual words from the context of statements on the investigation underway. As an example of incorrect use of facts, the employees of the "Novaya Gazeta" refer to an article in the Spanish newspaper "El Pais" that has published a material on investigation of Politkovskaya's murder.
