Youth parliament to be formed in Ingushetia

Yunus-bek Evkurov, president of IngushetiaYunus-bek Evkurov, president of Ingushetia, has announced that a youth parliament is to be formed soon in Ingushetia.

"The decision on forming a youth parliament has already been adopted and now candidates are being selected", announced Yunus-bek Evkurov, president of Ingushetia, at the youth conference in Nazran on Friday, January 23.

Additionally, according to the president, public youth committees are to be created soon in districts and towns of the republic. They will enjoy extensive powers, including the authority to monitor the execution of various social programs, reports "Interfax-Yug".

"We need to create more favorable conditions for the intellectual and spiritual development of youth, we should involve young people into the fulfillment of the tasks the republic faces", noted the republic's president. His statement is cited by the newspaper "Severnyi Kavkaz".

"The republic faces a lot of problems, and fight with corruption and crime and creation of the working places are among the main ones. In these conditions, it is important to train young specialists and a young team who are going to lead the republic", emphasized Evkurov.
