In Ingushetia, two women detained in special operation released

Residents of Ingushetia Madina Ozdoeva and Patimat Mutalieva, detained in the course of the special operation conducted by power agents on March 26 in Ordzhonikidzevskaya village, Sunzha District of the republic, are at large. The investigation regards them as witnesses.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed today, on April 10, at the Investigatory Division of the ICPO of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Ingushetia that Ozdoeva and Mutalieva were detained as suspects of encroaching on life of law enforcers and illegal arms circulation. "After their innocence was establishment, they were released and now figure in the criminal case as witnesses," said a spokesman of the Investigatory Division.

We remind you that in the course of the special operation, conducted by FSB agents in Ingushetia and employees of the temporary operative group of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) on March 26, supposed participants of illegal armed formations Mikail Khashiev and Musa Bogatyryov, who hid in the eight-apartment House No. 1 in Demchenko Street in Ordzhonikidzevskaya village, were liquidated. Six militiamen were wounded.

Ozdoeva and Mutalieva surrendered before the end of the armed clash. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the Nazran office of the Human Rights Centre "Memorial" that Patimat Mutalieva was wounded and lay in the yard for almost an hour. Power agents took her away after Madina Ozdoeva surrendered.

Earlier, the FSB has reported that the militants liquidated in Ordzhonikidzevskaya had planned to use Patimat Mutalieva as a suicide bomber for committing "a resonant subversive and terrorist act in territory of Ingushetia."
