Third Caucasian native assassinated these days in Moscow
In the west of Moscow an unidentified person has opened fire at a man, who died in situ from the received wounds, as reported by a source in the law enforcement bodies of the capital of Russia.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the last two days two natives of Chechnya were murdered in Moscow.
"An unidentified person opened gunfire at a native from the Caucasus at the entrance of House 7 in the Initsiativnaya Street, between Blocks 1 and 2. The victim died from the wounds," said the source.
He added that the killer disappeared from the scene of the crime in a VAZ-2109, as the "Interfax" reports.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Gilani Shepiev, former Vice-Mayor of Grozny, was shot dead at night. Later, at about 930 p.m. Moscow time, an unknown criminal executed Tamerlan Akhmatov, 35, a resident of Grozny, from a pistol. The investigation does not link these two crimes together.
The murder of Gilani Shepiev, former deputy head of administration in Grozny, could be a blood feud act, as a source of the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chechnya asserts.
According to information from the law enforcement bodies of Chechnya, in 2004-2006, Shepiev was in charge of power agencies in the administration of the Chechen capital. Their Moscow counterparts have stated that Shepiev's murder was an ordered one and was directly linked with his former work.
