The seventh killed woman identified in Chechnya

In Chechnya, inspectors have established the person of the young woman murdered today near the village of Enginoy.

We remind you that today a charred woman's body was found some 1.5 km to the south-west of Enginoy. Examination of the body showed that the woman was shot dead in her head; then, someone tried to burn the body down.

"The investigation has established that the victim is a girl of 18, a native of Alkhan-Yurt village, Grozny District. For some time past she lived with her girlfriend in a rented apartment in Grozny. According to experts, she died on November 27," said the spokesman of the Investigatory Department (ID) of the ICPO for the Chechen Republic.

"It is known that on November 25 an unidentified person gave her a call and asked to go out. Nobody has seen her since. A criminal case was initiated on the fact of this murder by the Gudermes Investigatory Department under Article 105 ("Murder") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," a source in the Investigatory Department told the "Interfax".

Meanwhile, as the RIA "Novosti" reports with reference to its own source in the ID of the ICPO for Chechnya, the investigation "sees no links so far" of the latest murder with the bodies of six other murdered women found earlier.
