The aim of the project is to hold a trial of those guilty of the Khodzhaly tragedy and to film a documentary on the results of the tribunal. The list of defendants at the trial will include Serzh Sarkisyan , incumbent President of Armenia, ex-Presidents Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Robert Kocharyan, ex-President of Nagorno-Karabakh Arkadiy Gukasyan, current head of the Ministry of Defence of Armenia Seiran Oganyan and other persons, who have, as people in Azerbaijan assert, direct attitude to mass liquidation of peaceful residents of Azerbaijani city of Khodzhaly.

It was noted at the presentation that all the persons on the list of defendants will receive official notifications about the independent public tribunal on Khodzhaly and invitations to take part in the trial personally or through their representatives, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

On the basis of the evidences to be presented by the survivals at the night of February tragedy in Khodzhaly a complete picture will be compiled of the crimes accomplished in this Azerbaijani city.

It is assumed that the independent trial will be attended, in the capacity of jurymen, by well-known human rights activists, lawyers, scientists and political figures from different countries of the world.
