In Stavropol Territory, colleagues speak in defence of the teacher accused of driving a pupil to suicide

The teachers' collective and administration of School No. 2 of Aleksandrovskoe village, Stavropol Territory, where Valentina Neumyvakina, who is accused of driving a 9th form pupil to suicide, works, think the teacher to be innocent of what has happened.

Lyubov Tumakova, Director of School No. 2, has stated to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that "the teacher of mathematics Valentina Neumyvakina had no conflicts with the pupil. The teacher never humiliated or offended the teenager. Neumyvakina is a highly skilled teacher, who has worked for many dozens of years at school. She can talk common language with her pupils, and she had moved same requirements to the perished boy as to other pupils. I hope that the investigation will clear out everything and find true reasons of the tragedy," Ms Tumakova has added.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed yesterday at the Stavropol Territorial Court that the Aleksandrovskoe District Court of the Stavropol Territory has found no sufficient grounds for dismissal of the teacher suspected of driving a 9th form pupil to suicide.
