Attack against secretary with Russian embassy to Georgia

Alexander Valyukhin, a secretary with the Russian embassy to Georgia, was attacked in Tbilisi last night.

According to a source in the local police, several people attacked Valyukhin, who was inside his car, in an attempt to rob him. One of the attackers hit him with a rifle butt on the head. Afterwards, the gang escaped the scene.

The source said the diplomat had fully recovered from the attack.
