Putin decorates Kadyrov with another order

Vladimir Putin has awarded Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya, the Order of Merit for Fatherland, Degree II, emphasizing his "great contribution to statehood strengthening."

As reported by the official portal of legal information of the Russian Federation, Kadyrov was awarded for "his great contribution to the strengthening of Russian statehood, the country's defence capability and the socio-economic development of the Chechen Republic."

Magomed Daudov, the Speaker of the Chechen Parliament, was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, Degree III. President Putin has credited him with "a great contribution to the development of parliamentarianism, active legislative activeness and many years of conscientious work."

Since 2023, Ramzan Kadyrov's 16-year-old son Adam has also been collecting numerous awards. His collection was launched after he had beaten up Nikita Zhuravel, accused of burning the Koran, at the SIZO (pre-trial prison) in Grozny.
