Resident of Rostov Region sentenced for state treason

A court sentenced a resident of the Rostov Region to 12 years of imprisonment for state treason. According to the court’s version, the defendant collected data on the location of military vehicles and equipment at an airfield in the Krasnodar Territory and transferred the information to the Ukrainian army.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that according to the investigators’ version, in March 2023, while collaborating with a military man of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 23-year-old defendant “sent him information about the location of the airfield in the Krasnodar Territory and the deployment of military vehicles and equipment there.” Furthermore, the resident of the Rostov Region expressed his support for Ukraine.

The “Caucasian Knot” has also reported that in November, in Krasnodar, a court found a local resident guilty of preparing to defect to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and sentenced him to six years of imprisonment.
