The Prosecutor's Office of the Achkhoy-Martan region of Chechnya opened a criminal case based on the article ?Abduction of a person? to investigate the disappearance of the 16-year old girl from the Chechen settlement Samashki Elina Katsayeva.

?The investigation is conducted by the regional prosecutor's office. It is early to speak of the complicity of concrete persons in this crime?, Chechen Deputy Prosecutor Said Pashayev announced on Wednesday.

Samashki picketers did not set up any political claims and did not make disorders.
