The condition of children ill with unknown disease worsens in Ingushetia

The state of health of the children in Ingushetia who have fallen ill with unknown disease is getting worse, and their relatives have to treat them for their own money. This is the topic of the complaint of the victims' relatives that has arrived to the "Chechen Committee for National Salvation."

On May 8, 2007, the Committee was approached by a group of mothers of the pupils of professional school No. 1 of the city of Nazran with a request to render feasible help in defending constitutional rights of their children. The situation described by the mothers in the application is similar to the one observed in Shelkovskoj District of the Chechen Republic, where both doctors and highly skilled specialists failed to define the exact cause of children's disease.

"As of today, the disease attacks in our children continue, and all the necessary medical procedures are made at our expense, despite the fact that all the children have their medical insurance policies," the victims' parents write.
