Armenia declares messages about battles in Hadrut District as "fake"

The Armenian side did not violate the ceasefire regime, and the information about new battles near the village of Tog in the Hadrut District of Azerbaijan is false, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Armenian declares.

The Armenian MoD has also noted that the Tog village is under the full control of the armed forces of Azerbaijan. The Armenian side also does not rule out that an information provocation could take place, the "Sputnik-Armenia" reports today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 11-12, the first violation of the ceasefire was registered in the area of the villages of Khtsaberd and Khin Takher (the Azerbaijani names are Chailakkala and Kyokhne Taglar, respectively, – note of the "Caucasian Knot") in the Hadrut District. The Russian peacekeepers helped the Armenian military personnel to get out of the encirclement, the Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD) reported. Meanwhile, the Ombudsman of Nagorno-Karabakh announced that 73 soldiers had been missed in action. Later, dead bodies of nine soldiers were found at the Armenian positions near the above-mentioned villages.
