Chechen Goity villager publicly repents for WhatsApp messages

The Chechen TV has shown a video with apologies of a resident of the Chechen village of Goity for an audio message spread on the WhatsApp. The story he invented about a man threatening children has angered social network users.

The video of a masked man apologizing for spreading a WhatsApp message about a mysterious man threatening children in a Ford car was posted on the Instagram.

"The man sent the unfortunate message, intended, according to his story, to help properly raise negligent offspring, to a friend of his. The latter didn't miss a chance to make the author of the apologies another WhatsApp star ... Now, he regrets and asks for forgiveness," says the description accompanying the vide clip.

Most users have condemned the resident of the village of Goity.

"How can a man deliberately mislead the whole republic", the user esfir_95 was indignant.

"He looks like a grownup man, but acts like a teenager," the user marjana0767 has noted.

Some users tried to somehow justify the man's act. "We need to remind children that they should not approach strangers," the user arslan_dzhamaev has supported the author of the apologies.
