Azerbaijan and Armenia blame each other of attacking civilians

Armenia is shelling the cities of the Terter District, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported. In its turn, the Armenian party has announced Azerbaijan's strikes on the city of Martakert and nearby villages.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that intense fighting continued in the conflict zone throughout the night; Azerbaijan reported shelling in the Agdere, Fizuli-Djebrail and Gubadli directions of the front.

Since this morning, Armenia has been shelling the Terter District, the Azerbaijani MoD has reported.

Azerbaijani troops have struck Martakert and nearby villages, Armenian authorities have reported in their turn.

Earlier, the participants in the peacemaking initiatives in Southern Caucasus have stated that the continuation of fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh will result in a humanitarian crisis should the parties in conflict fail to start peace talks.
