The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the hostilities in the Karabakh conflict zone began on September 27. The martial law was imposed in Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh, and Azerbaijan. Today, the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan has reported about shelling attacks on villages in a number of regions. At night, the capital of Nagorno-Karabakh came under missile fire from the Azerbaijani side, the authorities of Armenia reported.

According to the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh, 18 civilians were killed and more than 90 others were wounded. According to Azerbaijan, as of October 6, 27 civilians were killed and 141 others were injured as a result of shelling attacks.

The Ministry of Defence of Armenia and the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh do their best to identify the bodies of the killed soldiers, but mistakes happen, and the search for the dead bodies is complicated by fierce combat actions, reports Artsrun Ovannisyan, the spokesman for the Armenian Ministry of Defence. Therefore, according to him, the military authorities sometimes release the information later than usual. Meanwhile, commanders do not always have time to sum up and report losses.
