Chechen woman suspected of links with IS

Farida Khadjieva, a 26-year-old resident of Chechnya, has left for Syria, where she joined the militants of a terrorist organization, law enforcers have suggested.

According to investigators, the woman left for Syria and is in the ranks of the "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization banned in Russia by the court.

Khadjieva left for Syria aiming to join the IS, investigators have suggested. She has been put on the all-Russian wanted list, the edition named "SMM News" has reported, citing the FSB Branch for Chechnya.

Let us remind you that on September 1, the Prosecutor's Office of Chechnya announced that in the first half of this year, 31 criminal cases were initiated against natives of Chechnya, who had left for Syria in order to join militants.
