In October 2019, no victims of armed conflict were registered in Northern Caucasus

In October 2019, for the first time since the start of monitoring of the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus, no information was received about any casualties and victims. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from open sources.

The "Caucasian Knot" emphasizes that its statistics cannot present, with 100 percent accuracy, the real number of victims. Not all the data gets into news reports; it is not always possible to verify statements of law enforcement bodies. Besides, some of the facts regarding the events of the reporting period become known already after the publication of the statistics.

There were no victims in any of the regions of Northern Caucasus, which include Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia-Alania and the Stavropol Territory.
