Forum of NKR's friends bring together over 150 people

The participants of the international forum in Stepanakert have announced the creation of an international network of friends of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR). The forum was attended by over 150 people from nearly 30 countries and regions of the world.

The Forum of NKR's Friends "Cooperation for Justice and Peace" was held on October 11 in Stepanakert, in the Youth Palace, on the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the NKR and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) "Dashnaktsutyun".

The delegates of the forum came from the USA, Russia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Transnistria, Lebanon, Armenia and NKR, France, Greece and other countries.

In the text of the final declaration of the forum, posted on the website of the MFA of the NKR, the delegates recognized the right of peoples to self-determination and called on states to refrain from any violent actions depriving nations of their right to self-determination, freedom and independence.

The forum has also decided to create an international network of NKR friends "ProArtsakh". This was done to increase the awareness about the NKR in the international arena and protect the legitimate interests of its citizens, the declaration has stated.
