NKR accuses Azerbaijan of 110 shelling attacks during week

During the first week of September, Azerbaijani military units fired more than 700 shots at positions of the Defence Army, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 25-31, the NKR fixed 120 violations of the ceasefire by the Azerbaijani party.

"On September 1-7, on the contact line of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh, – note of the "Caucasian Knot") and Azerbaijani troops, the opponent violated the ceasefire regime for more than 110 times, having fired about 700 shots from various-calibre small arms at Armenian combat posts," the NKR's MoD has stated.

In its turn, during the same time, Azerbaijan daily reported about shelling attacks on the border with Armenia and in the Karabakh conflict zone. According to the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot", Azerbaijan counted 156 such cases within the week.
