Relatives of detained Dagestani resident ask for help in his search

On February 4, after a search, law enforcers took a resident of Khasavyurt away with them and since then his fate is unknown, reported relatives of the detainee.

Relatives of a 19-year-old Abdul Magomedov informed the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" that employees of an unidentified law enforcement body arrived at the house in an armoured personnel carrier. Meanwhile, they refused to produce any documents. During the search, law enforcers discovered a grenade, which, according to the young man's relatives, was planted to the house.

Then law enforcers took Abdul Magomedov away to some unknown destination. Law enforcers from the Department for the Khasavyurt District of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) informed the detainee's relatives that the man was never brought to their place.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in May 2018 in Makhachkala, law enforcers detained local resident Yunus Abdurakhmanov. According to his relatives, a grenade and ammunition were planted to the man.
