Azerbaijan reports machine gun fire from Armenia

During the last 24 hours, Armenian militaries violated the truce on the troops contact line for at least 23 times, said the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 3-4, Azerbaijan fixed 26 shelling attacks undertaken from the territories of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.

"The units of the Armenian Armed Forces, by using large-calibre machine guns, within the last 24 hours violated the ceasefire regime in different sections of the frontline for 23 times," the Azerbaijani MoD has reported on its website today.

As of 8:46 a.m. Moscow time today, the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have not commented on this statement on their websites.
