Azerbaijan reports 23 shelling attacks in the conflict zone

Positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the Karabakh conflict zone were shelled from Armenia and from territories near the "occupied villages", the country's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 26, Azerbaijan reported 30 shelling attacks on its positions within the past 24 hours.

"During the last 24 hours, units of the Armenian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire regime in different sections of the frontline for 23 times," the Azerbaijani MoD reported on its website this morning.

The shelling was conducted both from the territory of Armenia and from the territories that Azerbaijan treats as its occupied ones, the MoD has stated.

As of 11:46 a.m. Moscow time on October 27, the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh did not place any comments to the above statement on their official websites.
