A resident of Ingushetia wounded during shelling in Sunzha

A man was hospitalized after a shelling in the city of Sunzha, reported the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF). Among the versions of the incident, investigators consider "blood feud," reports a source from the law enforcement bodies of the region.

The incident occurred in Kalinin Street today at about 11:30 a.m. Moscow time.

"An unidentified person fired shots from a firearm into a BMW-325 car driven by a 49-year-old man. As a result, the victim was taken to the Sunzha Central Regional Hospital with gunshot wounds to his head and body," reported the ICRF's Investigating Department for Ingushetia.

"Among the versions of the incident, investigators consider blood feud," reported a source from the law enforcement bodies of Ingushetia as quoted by the RIA "Novosti".

The victim was hospitalized with injuries to his face. He stays at the resuscitation ward in a severe condition, the TASS reports with reference to a source from the Sunzha Central District Hospital.
