Dagestani authorities block road because of CTO

The traffic through the Buynaksk Pass is closed because of the counterterrorist operation (CTO), the Dagestani Ministry of Transport reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 27, the CTO regime was introduced in the Buynaksk and Kumtorkala Districts of Dagestan. On the other day, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reported that law enforcers killed a suspected militant in a shootout. The killed suspect was identified as a 26-year-old resident of the Endirei village in the Khasavyurt District.

The closure of the road through the Buynaksk Pass was reported by the press service for the Dagestani Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities.
