Azerbaijan claims shelling of its two villages

Over the past day, the ceasefire regime in the Karabakh conflict zone was violated 87 times, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 15 and 16, the heads of rural communities reported that the Azerbaijani armed forces shelled the Armenian villages of Chinari and Kochi and that a local resident was wounded. On September 16, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the Armenian armed forces responded to the shelling and "were forced to kill three Azerbaijani soldiers." On September 17, a new shelling of the Kochi village and the border village of Baganis was reported. Azerbaijan has rejected information about three killed Azerbaijani soldiers.

The positions of the Azerbaijani army were shelled at the village of Bala Jafarli in the Gazakh District, the village of Kokhanebi in the Tovuz District, and at the nameless heights in the Gadabay District, Baku officials reported.
