"Anji" FC raises money for families of victims of attack in Kizlyar

The Dagestani FC has allocated 500,000 roubles to family members of the people killed and injured as a result of the shooting in Kizlyar.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 18, nine persons fell victim to the shooting near a temple in Kizlyar. Five of them died. Khalil Khalilov, a 22-year-old assailant, was also killed. The day of February 20 was announced in Kizlyar a day of mourning. In accordance with the decision of the archbishop, the killed people were buried at the temple cemetery. The money to render material assistance to family members of the victims was raised by residents of Dagestan and neighbouring Ingushetia.

On February 28, top managers of the "Anji" FC met Father Pavel, the rector of Saint George the Victorious Church of Kizlyar. FC President Osman Kadiev expressed his condolences to family members of the killed people and allocated to them and to the injured people 500,000 roubles.

The money was raised by football players, coaches, managers and employees of the football club, reports the official website of the "Anji" FC.
