Policemen punished for inaction at attack on Navalny’s Krasnodar office

Krasnodar policemen are brought to disciplinary responsibility after the attack on the oppositionist’s office, says the response of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 1, supporters of Alexei Navalny complained to the police about an unauthorized action held on July 31 by the "Putin’s Detachment" near their office in Krasnodar. Activists added that the Navalny’s opponents had battened the entrance to the building.

Attacks on the Navalny’s office in Krasnodar occurred many times. On August 3, some elderly women smashed the glass door and crushed the office.

"Under my application, the policemen, who took no measures during attacks of ‘Putin's Detachments’, have been held accountable," Leonid Volkov, the head of the Navalny's electoral office, has written today in his Twitter today.
