Azerbaijani resident rejects accusation of involvement in Syrian militant units

At trial, Rovshan Gadirov has stated that he delivered humanitarian aid to the Arab countries and did not take part in combat actions.

Today, the Baku Court of Serious Crimes has read out an indictment, according to which Rovshan Gadirov took part in battles in Syria and Iraq on the side of terrorist organizations.

The next court hearing is scheduled for August 15, the "Report.az" reports.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 22, the court of Baku found Ramin Khanmuradov guilty of participating in battles on the side of terrorist groupings in Syria and Iraq and sentenced him to 10 years of imprisonment.
