Alexei Sizonovich sentenced to 12 years in prison

The North-Caucasian District Military Court has sentenced a 61-year-old Ukrainian citizen, accused of plotting a terror act in the Rostov Region, to 12 years imprisonment in a penal colony and a fine.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that according to investigators, 61-year-old Alexei Sizonovich collected information about the transport infrastructure facilities to commit terror acts and manufactured explosive devices. Public prosecutor requested the Court to sentence the defendant to 12 years of imprisonment. Alexei Sizonovich himself pleaded guilty and declared his repentance.

Today, the Court has pronounced the verdict of guilty against Alexei Sizonovich. He has been sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment in a high-security penal colony and a fine of 250,000 roubles, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
