Maria Kuchina updates best world result of season

Maria Lasitskene (Kuchina) won a stage of the "Diamond League" in Switzerland. The track and field athlete from Kabardino-Balkaria conquered the height of 2.06 meters and thus showed the best result of the season in the world.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 11, at the competitions in Holland, Maria Lasitskene achieved a personal record of 2.04 meters, which also became the best result of the season in the world.

The next stage of the "Diamond League", a prestigious series of international tournaments in athletics, was held in the city of Lausanne.

The competition of female high jumpers was held on July 6. Maria Lasitskene started jumping with high confidence, and from the first attempts, she overcame the initial heights of 1.84, 1.90, and 1.93 meters. The athlete conquered the height of 1.96 meters in the second attempt, but none of other participants of the tournament could overcome that height. Further, Maria Lasitskene put 2.01 heights and conquered it in the first attempt. Then, she put a bar at the height of 2.06 meters and conquered it in the second attempt.

This is a personal record of the athlete, a record of competitions and a record of the "Diamond League".
